Fullness of Truth’s Summer Catholic Family Conference in San Antonio, TX

August 21st – 23rd, 2020

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, San Antonio, Texas

Fullness of Truth invites you to their signature event: the 14th Annual Summer Catholic Family Conference, August 21st-23rd at the beautiful and family-friendly Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas!  This year’s theme is, “Radical Discipleship! Evangelization in the Real World” and features renown speakers: FR. DONALD CALLOWAY, MIC (popular preacher, EWTN guest & author), FR. KEN GERACI, CPM (engaging missionary preacher),  MARK HART (Executive VP Life Teen, author & international presenter), HALLIE LORD (host of “Hallie Weekly” on SiriusXM Radio & author), ENNIE HICKMAN (international missionary & pilgrimage leader), and  JESSE ROMERO (dynamic Catholic evangelist  & author).  Together, and along with an opening night, kick-off concert with the festive sounds of  The Tony Melendez Band, and special guest Taylor Tripodi, they will unforgettably renew and inspire attendees in their vocations: to live the Gospel anchored in the Word of God, the Mass, and in the Holy Eucharist, radically detached from the things of “this World”, in favor of attachment to Almighty God, His Truth, and His Holy Will!

“Radical Discipleship” is obediently carrying out the commands of Jesus in every way possible, “in season, and out of season”, at whatever the cost.  The first disciples of Jesus including the Apostles, truly evangelized at great personal cost, telling all about Our Lord by both word and example.  But did Our Lord’s command only apply to His first followers?

Among Catholics, somehow there seems to be an erroneous impression that there exists a “two-track system”.  That is, some hear the call, “discern a vocation” and become priests, nuns, and religious.  They “give up” lots of things like marriage, family, success in business, and most creature-comforts.  The rest of us, however, who don’t otherwise know that we also have a vocation, don’t really need to “set the bar” so high.  All that is required is to go to Mass on Sunday, keep the Ten Commandments, get to confession when we fail, and basically be decent people.  It is enough to just finish the race.  Nothing could be further from the truth, and Jesus clearly gives us no such choice!

The saints teach us that Christianity isn’t about embracing abstractions.  It’s about living the Gospel anchored in the Word of God, in the Mass, and in the Eucharist to strengthen and nourish us.  When we embrace the Eucharist as a sacrament of love, the mystery of the cross made present, the most amazing encounter we can have with God on this earth, we are supernaturally empowered like the saints.  When they saw someone suffering, they helped them.  This is our vocation as well!
